Great food! We (my wife and I) ordered orange chicken, chili oil noodles, and steamed dumplings. Everything was amazing. The portions are very generous too. With what we ordered we had plenty to eat there and enough for another meal of leftovers. The service was really quick. We were there for an early lunch so we were the only ones there which was nice. All the staff were very friendly. They also have it set up so you can watch the cooks hand make there noodles which was cool. If I lived closer I would come here at least once a month. Will definitely be coming back. Prices were super reasonable too.

Overall Rating: 6.5/10 This establishment offers a unique dining atmosphere with competent service and well-prepared dishes, providing good value for the overall experience. Atmosphere: 6.8/10 The setup is quite intriguing, resembling a takeout spot that has expanded to include dine-in options. The additional private room is ideal for large groups, and the arrangement of tables caters well to big families, creating a versatile dining space. Service: 6.3/10 The service was commendable, characterized by timely food delivery and attentive staff who ensured water glasses were frequently refilled. The friendly nature of the staff contributed positively to the dining experience. Food: Crab Rangoon: 6.3/10 The crab rangoons were noted for their crispiness and appeared homemade, which was reflected in their high quality and great taste, making them a highlight of the meal. Pork Fried Rice: 6.8/10 This dish was praised for its excellent execution. The BBQ pork was flavorful, and the variety of ingredients mixed in provided a rich and satisfying taste, all cooked to perfection. General Tso's Chicken: 5.9/10 While generally good, this dish had a distinctive sauce that was spicier than usual, adding a unique twist. However, a more balanced sweet tang would have been preferred, and a crunchier texture could have enhanced the chicken pieces, which were fresh and well-sized. Value: 6.9/10 The restaurant offers very good value, reflecting the quality of food and the level of service provided. The pricing aligns well with the quality and the dining experience, making it a recommendable option for those looking for good food at reasonable prices.

Fantastic food! Best Chinese food in the Triangle in my opinion. Scrumptious food, attentive service, calm ambience. They don’t accept Amex cards. Will definitely be back.

If you're in the mood for authentic and delicious Sichuan cuisine, this cozy little gem is the place to be! Despite its small size, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for enjoying a meal with friends or a quiet dinner. The menu is packed with flavorful dishes that transport you straight to the heart of Sichuan. The Handmade Pork, Shrimp, and Leek Dumplings are an absolute must-try! Each dumpling is perfectly crafted, with a delicate wrapper that gives way to a savory and juicy filling. The balance of pork, shrimp, and leek is absolutely delicious. Another standout is the Glass Noodles topped with Minced Pork. The noodles are silky smooth, and the minced pork adds a rich, savory depth to the dish. It's simple but bursting with flavor. For a heartier option, the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup hits all the right notes. The beef is tender and flavorful, swimming in a rich, aromatic broth that is sure to warm you from the inside out. The noodles are just the right texture, making this dish a comforting and satisfying choice. Overall, this spot offers an unforgettable Sichuan dining experience with dishes that are both authentic and mouth wateringly good. Highly recommended for anyone craving bold flavors and a cozy atmosphere!

The service is great! Greeted with a smile and attentive to our table. The food was amazing! I didn't have a fav dish because everything tasted great in its own way. Great portion sizes. The playlist added to the atmosphere with all the hits!

Chengdu 7 is a great Chinese "hole in the wall" restaurant just outside downtown Cary. Fair pricing, huge portions, nice staff. While there was a language barrier, the waiters serving us verified our orders and did a good job explaining what different menu items were to our table. We ordered quite the assortment and shared with the table, family style: Glass noodles with minced pork, beef onions dumplings, pork and pickled cabbage dumplings, chili oil hand pulled noodles with Chinese bacon/pork, egg rolls, cumin lamb, and scallion pancakes. The absolute best things were the dumplings, the scallion pancakes, and most of all, the cumin lamb. I highly recommend Chengdu 7!
